About
Tom Pollock Jr.

I've been drawing ever since I can remember. Although it started the usual way, dinosaurs, Ninja Turtles, Mortal Kombat fatalities, (okay, maybe not so usual) it soon became something more. I branched out into video then naturally combined that with illustration. You know what that means, yup, animation. It wasn't so clean in the beginning, considering I was using Lined Paper and no Light Box, and basically shooting on "8's." It was a little choppy to say the least.
During high school I enrolled in Tommy Castillo's private art class. It was there I learned everything from lighting and perspective, to foreshortening and inking. Tommy has had a tremendous impact on my art, pushing me further than I ever thought possible. It was under Tommy's guidance I learned the true meaning of "critique."
I spent three years at the Art Institute in Philadelphia earning my Bachelors degree in Animation. With my training from Tommy I was levels above the rest, earning "Best of Quarter" awards almost every quarter. It was here I learned the "power" of 3D animation, expanding my capabilities even further. In the fall of 2005 I graduated with honors.
Now I'm a full time illustrator, specializing in storyboards and concept art. But I have been known to kick around some other things like tattoo and character design, comics, video, and surprisingly enough Broadcast Graphics.
Commissions and Services
I won't walk your dog, or clean your house, but if you're looking for artwork...
I'm currently accepting commissions of all kinds. Comic pages, pinups, tattoo designs, character designs, storyboards, you name it, I pretty much got it covered. Pricing depends on size, detail and color; so shoot me an e-mail from my contact page and let me know what you're looking to have created.
